Hi, my name is Darline and I am the owner, and only employee of,
Little Darlin's Creations.
I have been married for 37 years and have two grown daughters, three granddaughters and two grandsons. I have been sewing for over 40 years, making wonderful clothes for my family and friends.
Several years ago, I decided that it was time to share some of my wonderful creations with others. I do hand sewn children's clothes, old-fashioned heirloom English smocking with hand embroidery and children's bedroom sets. Holiday dresses are a special item I love to do.
A recent new line I have started is dear to my heart also, Santa Wear .
Mostly I do custom orders, tailored to fit the individual person, but sometimes I create standard sizes from my remnants.
For those interested, I will do mail order. You will need to provide all the measurements, I will provide instructions on how to and what measurements I need.
I generally ask you to go to a local sewing/fabric store and look through their catalogs to find a pattern you would like, then email me the brand and number of the pattern, or you can purchase and send it to me. I do have several patterns in stock for children and santa wear. I will email pictures on request.
I have over 50 smocking/embroidery plates on file, and adding more all the time. If you let me know what you think you would like, I will email pictures of similar plates for you to choose from.
Fabric is the hardest part to settle on. Again, if you know what you want just describe it to me and I will find it. Otherwise, go back to that local sewing/fabric center and look through their stock. I can usually match anything you can find, if you send me the manufacturer and their stock number with color number.
